What was your first pet and how long did you keep it for?
My first pet name was Maxy. He was with me for 7 months then he died.
When I was three years old, my mom taught me how to take care of a little orphaned orange tabby kitten that I named Fuzzball. Twenty years later, he got old and cranky and didn't like the dogs in the house, so he moved in with the neighbors two doors down of his own accord. He died a year after that. I had many, many other pets come and go in that cat's lifetime, but he stuck around a LOOOOONG time .
My first pet was Rugby, a female lab, I had her from the ages of three years to twelve. She was ten when she died.
A cat named Sandy, lived 8 years before she passed away.

What is the name of your pet and how did you come up with it?My kids' cat's name is Tokey. I asked my daughter how they came up with that name and she said it comes from smoking joint. Instead of saying "Wanna smoke?" nowadays kids say "Wanna toke up?"

First time parents, what did you think when you first brought your newborn home? When my wife and I got home, we sat on the couch for a long while, and stared at each other and the baby, not quite sure what to do. It was a little strange. I guess we were in shock.

Would you tell your child that their pet died or would you replace it ?

Thats ridiculous, if you can't find a job in your area in three years then move to where the jobs are. Unemployment is beginning to be a career for some people.
