    Why don't sheep shrink when it rains?

    Every other kind of hair flattens out. Why doesn't theirs?

    Lol a superb question. I guess their wool is more like a feather. Water doesn't soak in but instead flows away. Just imagine a sheep getting soaked - it would surely die with a cold or something. So according to me: it works more like a feather made of wool
