Do you see or observe white heron or egret in your place?

If there are, do they build nests and lay eggs?  Have you seen their nests and eggs?

We are here in Brazil and have lakes so yes. we have them but haven't seen any nests. We have the cattle egret, snowy egret and the big one. (I can't recall the name)Giant egret perhaps.
We have a tilapia farm and they sit on the cages, preening and trying to stab through the netting at the fish.

Great Blue Herons and Great White Herons are closely related today. The Great White Egret has the largest home range - around the world - but was formerly called "Great White Heron" and then "American Egret." It has been a symbol of conservation for 6 decades to date. read more
