What are the benefits of therapeutic horseback riding and how is it different from regular riding?
I volunteered in a therapeutic riding center for a while. Therapeutic riding helps build muscle strength as well as develop flexibility, coordination and balance. It builds self-confidence and facilitates healthy social interaction. Riding incorporates cognitive activities on horseback which also facilitate cognitive development.
Thanks for taking time to leave such a knowledgeable and detailed answer to my question.
