What do you know about the Blue Malayan Coral Snake?
I saw it on Naked and Afraid and I have never seen or heard anything about this particular snake.
The blue Malaysian coral snake is a species of venomous snake. It was first described as a new species in scientific literature by Friedrich Boie in 1827. It is a medium-sized coral snake with a slender body. its color is indigo or deep blue with light blue or white stripes along each side of the body. The head, venter, and tail are usually bright red. It has a blunt snout and small eyes. It's often confused with the pink-headed reed snake because they share similar habitat and appearance, but the reed snake is much smaller. It may be dangerous to confuse these two kinds because the reed snake is nonvenomous.
