Do You Name Your Pet Fish?

Some people think it's silly, but I've always named my pet fish.  My favorite of all time was a white angel fish named Angel.  (I never said I was original!)  I had this fish for about four years.

    How about you?

As silly as it may seem, I have a few of my fish that I have named. I currently own a red belly pacu. The links below will show you what they look like.

My pacu is named Frankie and he is about 15 inches long and 10 inches tall and about 2 to 3 inches thick. He is one of the biggest that I have seen and also has developed teeth.

We named him shortly after he started growing and also because he is the only one of his kind in the tank.

I think that it is smart to name them as it builds the bonding.

I don't think naming fish is strange or silly. I find it a more personal attitude towards pets wink If we always name dogs and cats, why this should be different with fish? And I think they somehow "remember" names wink
