How do you switch a cat from cat food to all natural foods?
I don't mean natural cat food but foods that humans can eat that are healthy for cat consumption.
I dont really think there are any foods for humans that are "healthy" for cats to consume...but then again I've never bothered to try/research it. I personally would ask a vet first to see which human foods are okay, if any.
At the very least, start mixing the human food into whatever you are currently giving them in very small amounts. Do that for a few days and slowly start to increase the amount. That way when you make the switch completely, the cat has a less likely chance to hurl everywhere like mine did...
keep the cat food away, start giving your kitty fried fish with rice. Mine ate the fish but a little rice. Then, she got used to it

Our cats are 15 years old. We feed them Friskies Urinary preventative cat food. This has been working for several years. Are there any other brands that are available?

What are some good home-made cat food recipes?Cat food for our cats is a big part of our grocery budget. They eat regular cat food, nothing special, and we watch for sales and coupons, but the cats go through a lot of cans and bags of cat food. I wonder if there are recipes to make cat food...

Just curious what brands folks are feeding thier dogs and why? Have you done much research on what is good for your dog? Do you give much preference to brand based on your dog's breed?
