My Betta Fish is really sick
He lives in a one Gallon his fins look like they are frozen and tight he breathes hard and only goes up for air after that he slowly floats down and keeps going near the sponge filter and rubbing him self against it
Have you checked the PH level of your water? I have a one gallon too that my Betta lives in. Maybe some water additives if the PH is off. Or fishmox for safe measure? Hope he pulls through!
Is his water room temperature? Too warm or too cold will make them act funny and sometimes cause them to go into shock.

I fully admit to not really keeping up with the current quality standards. So I would appreciate help with getting this hub up to code.http://hubpages.com/animals/Better-Betta-Fish-Housing
