So, my family’s dog has an issue with disobedience. When we tell him to go lay down for barking too much or whatever that he really wants to do, he does it very unwillingly and lays there stiff and growls. And when we scold him for growling and send him to his crate (he knows the command), he’ll go towards his crate, but then stop and look at us like, “make me.” And so, I’ll reiterate the command, and he immediately does everything but what we told him to do, and refuses to do it and runs away from us, and we would have to literally catch him and drag him to his crate, except that Dad cuts off making him do it at that point and let’s him get away with not obeying. I don’t know what to do about this. Any suggestions?

Marley ain't got nothin' on THIS pooch!See this sweet, innocent-looking pup? His name is Buford T. Sparkplug. We adopted him from an animal shelter.
