Be an Artist: Easily

Updated on November 26, 2012

Everybody is Creative

I believe everyone is an artist; some discover that sooner; some later. If all are artists, why shouldn't all discover their art? Art keeps your mind, body and soul healthy.

What I know I'll pass on, to do my bit. Here is a collection of my hubs which, I hope, will help you further your art in many ways. Sadly, I can help you only with the visual arts, but in those areas I'll do my best.

Will constantly update this hub, I promise.

Nothing stops you from being an artist!

How to draw basic faces

How Almost Anyone Can Learn To Draw

This hub introduces you to drawing through cartooning. If you can write with a pen, you have what it takes to draw with a pencil.

Easy Art with an Eraser!

Frameable art in five minutes. It's fun, too!

Tools: Paper, pencil, eraser.

Make beautiful landscapes in 5 minutes with pastels!

A happy, fun activity which will satisfy your artistic soul and a source of fun to children around!

Tools: Waste paper, drawing paper, dry pastels.

Finger Painting for Everybody: Easy, Fun and Mood Lifting

Try this out, with or without children! You thought it child play? It is, but also great art!

Tools: Glossy Art Paper, Finger paints or Poster Colours.

How-to-Draw-Moving-Pictures

This is like magic! Do this and kids will remember it for life! It was a success wherever I taught them to do this! No, this is not how to make a flip book.

Tools: Paper and pencil or pen.

Warch this page for more later! Have fun!

I'll try it right away! May your tribe flourish!

I did it! I feel so ashamed of my previous self! It's so simple!

      Thank you, Isabella!

Oh.. ! Well, if they are text capsules then yes, you can do the same thing, and they will be aligned like they are in my latest hub, I think. I hope. You could always try it and use the preview thing, and if not just revert! :)

Isabella, these are not link capsules but text capsules, but I see what you mean. Same thing. But my problem is, if I put them right and left, will the links align to the respective images?

Ah, okay, got an idea from your layout. Use a capsule title as divider of each unit?

Thanks, I think I'll just look at your hubs and learn. :)

Kenny - Ah, I see.. I assume you used a photo capsule and a link capsule for each example? If so (if you even want to, that is) you can have have the link capsules sitting left, and the photo capsules sitting right, the same as you can do with a text capsule and photo capsule. :)

Kenny! Great reminder of the art HUBs. I've been away and missed the photo shop articles so I still will have that to learn.

      Good stuff

      regards Zsuzsy

Aw, Abhinaya, thank you for everything!

I teach now and then, yes, but professionally I'm a writer and an illustrator. Hubpages gives me a chance to reach out to so many people and make them artists! Your visit here is much appreciated!

      God bless you.

Will never forget it, G-Ma! You can tell him so.

      Isabella, lol!

      No, not your browser.

I wanted to club each link with its picture,

and this was the only layout I could do to solve that problem.

Can't stand here talking to you, Go to go read the latest poem by a great friend and find out what she means by 'Complete Me.' LOL!

Hugs, for you, and for the young gentleman who looked at my book three times.

Thanks Wehzo. Learning to draw will help us a bit in our communication, too, to children, for example, or to add variety to our hubs.

Thank you, VioletSun, but don't judge yourself too strictly. It could be art already!

Liked your comment on being an artist with words; guess we all have our different talents. If I ever draw anything worthy of it being called "art", I will let you know!

You are an artist with words, aren't you? And must be creative in many things, too, that I don't know about. My job is to tell you that you can draw! :) Please try them one by one, for the sake of my stand!

      Mr. Wordsmith-

Perhaps there is an artist inside of me after-all? I will be a good test of your skills as an art teacher. LOL

Thank you. I really do plan on trying some of these techniques.
