What Is Grosgrain Ribbon?

Grosgrain ribbon is a cotton blend ribbon that is ribbed with a solid border edge. It holds its shape and is hand-washable, machine washable and dry cleanable. The uses for this versatile ribbon are many and varied. The most popular uses for grosgrain ribbon are: Scrapbooking, floral arranging, jewelry, hair bows, clothing embellishments, gift wrapping, wedding invitations, card-making, many types of crafts and sewing.

I love grosgrain ribbon. It holds it's shape and is a strong, sturdy ribbon. You can glue it, applique it, ruffle it. Almost anything you do with it comes out looking beautiful.

I have been unable to find a decent selection in the stores of late so I turned to the internet. The best spots to find a good selection of grosgrain ribbon are of course, Amazon and eBay. I have delved deeper into the internet world and have found a few other really wonderful places to shop for this my favorite ribbon.

randomcreative, I have managed to find a few more resources but haven't had time to add to this hub. Etsy is always a go-to spot for anything crafty. It's a wonderful website.
