Twined Bottles

These are great for centerpieces or just for decoration around the house, put some flowers in them. You'll need:

A couple of bottles, wine preferably

Waxed twine: this will make it easier to wrap around the bottle and stay. You can get different colors off amazon if regular twine color isn't your thing.

Hot glue gun

If you want you can leave labels on the bottles since they will get covered with the twine anyway. There are different ways you can go about creating these bottles. What you can do is take a hot glue gun and glue a bit at the bottom so you can glue the twine to the bottom where you can start. If you are using the wax twine, you don't have to worry so much about hot gluing each wrap.

You can begin wrapping the twine around the bottle until you reach the top. There you can hot glue the end under the lip of the bottle.

Watercolor Mug

So for the above photo you will need a plain white coffee mug, nail polish (color of your choice), toothpicks and a container to fill with water.

First you will take your container filled with water and pour a few drops of nail polish in. Stir with a toothpick. Then dip your mug into the water and pull it out. It should have the color on the mug. Pat dry, don't wipe or it will come right off.

Hula Hoop Chandelier

So for this you will need ribbon, a hula hoop and icicle christmas lights.

You're going to take the hula hoop and paint it whatever color you wish. When it's dry you can take the Christmas lights and wrap it around the hoop. To cover the cord I recommend ribbon and wrapping it around the cord. Decorate this however you wish. Hang and plug in!

DIY painted vases

Grab as many different clear glass bottles as you can. Pick out the color paint(s) you want. And have a station ready for the paint to go when you are done.

Take your bottle and pour the color paint you'd like into it. Pour just enough so you can swish the paint around until completely coated. Do this to as many bottles as you would like, with as many different colors as you would like.

These work great for parties and wedding. You can use them as vases or purely just decoration.
