Quick and Easy Handmade Greeting Cards

Updated on August 12, 2011

A lot of people have started turning to do-it-yourself projects in the last few years to save a little money in their budget. If you're a crafty person, then what easier way to do this than making your own greeting cards? Believe it or not, you can make quality cards fast and cheap for:

  • BIrthdays
  • Holidays
  • Celebrations (Baby Showers or Weddings)
  • Thinking-of-You
  • Sympathy

And more! Here are a few ideas of some cards I've made recently to help inspire your new creations. I find the fastest cards can be made from buying a pack of pre-printed cards with envelopes from your local craft store. Grab one of their coupons from their website before you go to save a little extra! Find a few embellishments while you're there, some adhesive, and a few jewels to jazz up your cards, and you'll be set.

Have fun!

Also, don't forget to get the kids involved for a cheap way to keep them entertained on the weekend and let them get creative!

As you can guess with "my name", I love handmade things. We have to teach kids to appreciate that too. Handmade cards and other articles are a special way to say to people we love them and appreciate them!

      Nice cards!
