Ask your kids to draw a rose petal using red construction paper. Attach the roses to the top of the pipe cleaners. Draw some leaves on green construction paper and attach them to the roses. Ask your kids to blow a round black balloon and tie the balloon. Twist the balloon and make the bigger part for the spider body and smaller part for the spider head. Tie it with a piece of string or yarn. Fold the pipe cleaners in half and twist the middle in the pipe cleaner. Then wrap around the twist in the valentine's balloon. This makes eight eight spider legs. You can draw eyes and fangs using white tempera paint. Your valentine's day balloon spider is ready.

Buy a valentine's candy jar. Fill the jar with hershey's chocolate and M and M's. Ask your kids to count the candy in the jar. Everyone gets 1 guess and the person whose guess is closest to the actual amount is the winner. The winner gets the candy jar. 4. Valentine's day paper flowers:

How to make valentine's paper flowers:
Trace your kid's hand on pink construction paper. You can cut the tracing hands out. Curl each of the finger to make a flower. Using the palm of the kids handprint, form a cone. Glue the cone together. Time to staple the flower to a pipe cleaner or green straw. Your handprint paper flower is ready.

Ask your kid to draw a heart using red construction paper. Cut the heart shape out. Fold your white construction paper in half. Rub your pencils over the heart and create your picture. Using colored pencils and markers, decorate your valentine's card and write your greeting.
