 Here are some easy valentine's day recipes for kids including chocolate minicups, chocolate covered strawberries, banana bread and heart shaped cookies. These are easy to make and very tasteful too. Kids will love these recipes and enjoy eating them.

1. Valentine's day chocolate minicups:

  • Chocolate - 8 oz
  • Baking cups - 12

How to make valentine's day chocolate minicups:

Heat the chocolate in a microwave safe bowl for 2 minutes. Stir well until the chocolate is completely melted. Spray some oil in the baking cups and fill with chocolate. Cover your kids baking cups with a plastic wrap and refrigerate for 1 hour. Remove the aluminium foil and take out the chocolate cupcakes. Your valentine's chocolate cupcakes is ready to serve.

2. Valentine's day banana bread recipe:

  • Ripe bananas - 3 smashed
  • Sugar - 1 cup
  • Butter - 1/3 cup
  • Egg - 1 (beaten)
  • Baking soda - 1 teaspoon
  • All purpose flour - 1 1/2 cups
  • Salt - very little
  • Chopped walnuts - 3 tablespoons

How to make valentine's day banana bread:

Add mashed bananas and butter and mix well. Slowly add egg, baking soda, sugar, salt and beat well. Now add all purpose flour little by little and beat using cake mixer. Transfer the batter into the loaf pan and bake at 350 degree for 1 hour. Homemade banana bread is ready to eat. Kids love to eat banana bread  and help you to bake them

3. Valentine's day chocolate covered strawberries:

  • Milk chocolate chips - 8 ounce
  • Shortening - 1 tablespoons
  • Fresh strawberries - 1/2 pound

How to make valentine's day chocolate covered strawberries:

Melt the chocolate chips and shortening in a double broiler. Insert the toothpicks into the top of the fresh strawberries. Dip the strawberries one by one in the chocolate mixture and place it in a styrofoam for the chocolate to cool down. Kids will definitely love to make their own chocolate covered strawberries. Enjoy your valentine's day chocolate covered strawberries.

4. Valentine's day heart shaped cookies

  • Sugar - 1 1/2 cups
  • Egg - 1
  • Butter - 1 cup
  • Vanilla extract - 1 teaspoon
  • All purpose flour - 2 1/2 cup
  • Baking soda - 1 teaspoon
  • Cream of tartar - 1 teaspoon
  • Almond extract - 1/2 teaspoon

How to make valentine's day heart shaped cookies:

Beat sugar, butter and egg and mix well. Now add flour, baking soda, vanilla extract, almond extract, tartar and make a soft dough. Refrigerate for 2 hours. Make your cookie using your heart shaped cookie cutter. Bake at 375 degree for 8 minutes. Serve the heart shaped cookies with your favorite icing.
