Drawing Lessons

Draw Lessons

Learning to draw is often a journey of personal art styles and interests for the artist and so the learning journey is often different for each individual artist. With many drawing lessons available through art colleges, online courses and online, artists can choose to learn about drawing whenever they want if they are restricted by other commitments in their life.

The number one lesson in drawing is to practice and draw many different things, from life and your imagination for your art to develop, it's about remembering what you have drawn and so to draw them easily later on when required in your art drawing projects. The key areas of interest I suppose are the sections to focus on in drawing, to draw what interests you will motivate you to go on with your learning and you'll see some satisfactory results.

And so, with this hubpage I want to provide a portal for all the useful how to draw hubpages, YouTube videos and other drawing tutorials that I've created and will create also. Now it would be useful to know how this page is doing in terms of being any use, so I thought what about any requests for content or any drawing video requests on drawing certain things, this will keep me more motivated than trying to come up with the content.

Leave your drawing lesson requests in the comments at the end of this page!

I have begun to do small drawing videos which show you how to draw basic stuff like eyes, ears and noses and I thought you may find them interesting, although I want to do more in depth drawing videos that explain in detail about drawing this basic stuff.

Watch the videos below....

Drawing Eyes

Drawing An Eye

Drawing Eyes can be easy or hard, but try and draw them the way I draw them and then try and add angry and sad eyes into the mix, observe other people when they laugh or cry to gain some insight into eye drawing.

Drawing Fire Examples

Fire drawing is another basic video that I created as I wanted to demonstrate with 3 to 4 quick examples of drawing fire differently, flames can be swirling masses of fire or just a simple candle flame, watch the video below!

Drawing Fire

Draw A Mouth

Mouth Drawing

Drawing an angry mouth this time, one of the many combinations of expressions you can draw. This is perhaps a good idea to draw other facial expressions later on with happy and sad mouths that kind of thing, what do you think?

Nose Drawing

The video below I draw a nose and what you'll find with these videos is that I haven't talked all the way through them as sometimes it's just better to watch someone draw something to learn. Noses come in all shapes and sizes and this one is an average size snozz!

Drawing A Nose

Drawing An Ear

Ear Drawing

Drawing an ear is so basic and in this video I go through drawing an ear and it was a simple case of just watching the video and see how you draw an ear, although I would advise you try and draw peoples ears on a bus or some other way with photographs is the way I learned how to draw ears.

Watch out for more videos that I'll add to this page and any other relevant drawing links and resources....

      Cheers there tatguy!

I was amazed that I got draw lessons as a title for this hubpage and the other one - sketch as I thought they would have been taken for a url, because the traffic all starts from a url.

Will check out drawspace and don't worry I've got backlink plans for this one and the others that go with it!

      Cheers now!

      Cheers there Sandy!

I always remember drawing my own hand in primary school and since then hands have been easier to draw!

Thanks for the lessons. Hands have always been hard for me. I understand why people draw cartoons with 3 fingers and thumb.
