Our concrete driveway is pitting after less than two years..  The contractor suggested that we...

use Quikrete Vinyl Concret Patcher Product.  We live in Ohio.  Do you think that this a good idea?

Did the contractor tell you why your concrete pitted and the reasons as to why the pitting occured?
You live in Ohio   winter cold , ice and snow
Using calcium chloride ( salt ) on your icecy drive sometimes can cause your concrete to pit
Especially if the top finishing was not correctly applied.
The age of your driveway could be part of the problem
Suggest you get other opinions from other experts or concrete contractors specializing in concrete repair work before deciding to have the work done .
    good luck

The mixture he speaks of will fail, the pits are usually from troweling when bleed water is still visible and rising. You will not be able to overlay with a cheap mixture as he is telling you.

your only choice may be a full on high quality overlay something decorative.

have those "bug holes" examined by someone qualified.

There are several different options that you can do, but the best option to do is just find a concrete contractor  around your area that would be cheap and quick that can help you out. They are so useful!
