Would anyone be interested in me posting a web design how-to on Hubpages?
It would just be a boringly simple sales page designed in PhotoShop CS5, then coded for the web.
Why wouldn't you just use WordPress? What's the point in hand coding?
Just curious - it just seems WordPress is so much faster it makes all of that obsolete.
In any event - YES. Post the page! It would be interesting to learn.
Yeah, Wordpress is great, but if you've ever sold your own product online, you probably found that a sales page is pretty effective.
By sales page, I just mean one of those pages you see almost every product on Clickbank using. There are salespage themes for Wordpress, but they're kind of expensive.
This would just be a quick, painless HTML markup, with no bells and whistles.
Absolutely you should make a hub about web design. It's a big market right now and I could see there being a lot of interest in it.
You really should create a hub of webdesign. This is a big market and now has a lot of attention, it can be seen.

Dear Hubpages Team,Hubpages is great, I'm the first to tell it. But it's very difficult to establish what is called an authority website with such uniform design. That's the reason I try to establish my own blogs with wordpress or joomla. So is it in Hubpages plan to give more freedom for the design...

What web design software do you use?I'm looking to improve my skills, currently I code using notepad and feel I could use something that is web-specific for development. It doesn't have to be WYSIWYG.
