As you will see from this picture or when you read through, I have a many varied interestes and creative outlets. In my point of view a few too many! I do wish sometimes that I could just be into only 1 or 2 things at least as far as crafting goes but being creative with my hands isn't my only hobby. I have many other interestes as well, if you look at my other lenses you will see. However i'm not much of a food person but something I love or come across something I want to try and then I will most definately try my best to make a lens on it.

My latest project aside from those Poptop flowers which I've taken a break from (until I find the proper yellow i'd like) Was I little poppet I made last night (May 3rd) I found it in some of my craft stuff, someone had sent me these felt shapes of a body an when I saw it, I thought hey I'll make a poppet! (plus as I joke I can carry it with me, as a portable voodoo doll. Scare my friends if they start to annoy me! ::winks:: )

I'm not able to draw well and really I don't know painting lingo etc, i just know acrylic paints make things look more realistic like you can grab them or as if they may be moving.

I've only done 2 paintings so far this one is my first. I started doing so when I found an 8x10 canvas for I think 2-$3 and a set of paints for $5! As soon as I saw the canvas the picture was in my head.

I think I have a 2nd set of the paints I don't always like to use one form sometimes its nice if you use a few different types like water paints with maybe a bit of acrylic or oil for a certain effect (i still have yet to try) for water. I just like playing around & experimenting myself. to me I always find if you self teach yourself you learn more and remember faster. Sometimes I check things out a certain type of brush for an effect I need & so on. I'm the same way if I color in a coloring page, I use crayons, Oil pastels, pencil & maybe even marker.

However on the occassion, I do come up with something really cool maybe even perfect.

I have also made a heart broken but stiches in it.

This I originally doodled small and looked really cool and I had shaded the smaller version in before I could xerox it. So I pretty much had to try and get the same effect. This one looks cool as if its standing off the page becasue of the shadow (smudge?) near the point.

I don't know if anyone actually considers photography as a 'craft' but being its a hobby I just play around with it, I consider it as such especially when I take some silly pictures or masterpieces like this one. When I see clouds & sun burst like this I think of it as the spirits of the dead going to Valhalla, heaven whatever their version is.

I went through a depressive time and found a little therapy in beading. Though it can sometimes be frustating when a bead is not fuly drilled through or whatever other case.

These are my Mardi Gras & what I call my Superman Kyrptonite bracelet.

I have made them for family & friends as gifts some have even asked me f I could make soemthing for them for a friend as a gift as well. All my designs are custom even if there are 2 the 'same' they onlyu look that way. There is always something 'original' or unique with each bracelet even if they are 'identical' friendship bracelets.

I made this by HAND! I did not have a sewing machine yet (but I don't even have space to use the portable one or the regular one)

I had made a patchwork pillowcase in home ec. in Junior High school, well one side anyway. in Summer of 2009 I think it was I made a FULL Patchwork body pillowcase. I've also made 2 other pillowcases previously to the body pillow & this one pictured.

When it comes to my sewing I may never have to buy thread in my life. My friend Andrea had found an old sewing box and gave it to me to see if there was anything I could use, & well now most of it is in a wine gift box that i use for my sewing box!

as for my sewing machine.. the one I have is noted on one of my other craftlenses.

I do have a bunch of stuff I can use but I don't find reason to make pages etc often. I don't ahve all the tools and things like that I just have the 'scraps' so to speak.

This one is for One halloween somewhere between 2006 & 2008 if I remember right.

Hopefully I will be able to creat a nice 'acordion' memory book & will post here once i can scan if I remember it. I am going to bring it with me.

ok I think I have this acrostic poem of mine on anther of my lenses but once I'm finished writing a poem, if I think it would look great with an illustration, (being I can't draw well enough to do a lot of what I would like) I try to find other ways, different Fonts, Colors and so on for a visual effect as well. I just hope that they will be able to do that when I get my book published
