How can I store electricity when driving my petrol driven car and power up my house
I have a fleet of 25 cars and I would like to know if there is a way I can drive them and and at the same time store electicity in them somehow. All of them combined do arround 100k per year and with an average price of €1.70 per litre that makes us €12000 per year in gazoline just to drive arround.
Would it be nice if some of that came back to me somehow.
I have read about the Nissan idea in doing that in one of his new electic cars but what about the petrol ones??
Your car battery stores electricity from the movement of the car. It uses that power to start the engine in the morning. You could try taking a full battery out in the evening and replacing it with a partially used one (so there's enough power to start the car the next day). Once the car is moving and has done about 5 miles or so, the battery is charging again. You need to be careful that your batteries are good ones, you don't want your cars getting stuck. I suppose it would be possible to hook up the alternator to spare batteries, so any extra power generated over and above that needed to keep the main battery topped up can be stored. You would need to talk to a car engineer about that. With new cars, you may not be able to remove the battery without having to reboot the engine management system.

Answer me this:What would you do if there was no power for the entirety of a 24 hours? Some people might be used to...

I know gas prices are pretty here in the states at the minute, saying that if broke it down , england would cost about 8-9 dollars a gallon and ireland about $7 maybe $6 more even . So $4 aint bad when you count this. I know the other countries go by the litre rather then the gallon. Some...

Have you ever driven down a one-way street going the wrong way on accident? One time I saw this elderly man driving down the parkway and make a u-turn underneath the overpass. The only problem was that he was going the wrong direction and into traffic. I wondered how long he had been driving down...
