1978 Ford Bronco Restoration Project
The Ford Bronco was produced by The Ford Motor Company from 1966 through 1996. It had five generations. Ours is a 1978 full size truck. This redesign was based on the F-150. Ford started the redesign in 1972, codenamed Project Short-Horn, but introduction was delayed by concerns over the mid-1970s fuel crisis.I acquired this Bronco from my wife's cousin for $400. It was a mess when I got it. So far I have replaced the brakes, exhaust system, cooling system, shocks, electrical and the side body panels. I really enjoy working on this project.

Body Work
Time has taken its toll on the body of the old Bronco. Both driver and passenger side rear quarter panels where pretty rusted out. Here are before and after pictures of the passenger side rear quarter panel.
