How can hydrogen fuel cells for cars be made perfectly and completely safe?
No one wants an accident on the scale of the Hindenburg.
It's unlikely cars will have any fuel system on board other than batteries in the future. Each car having its own fuel cell would be too costly. It's more likely that cleaner and cheaper means of producing electricity will eliminate the need for each car to have its own power generator.

We have had a very interesting comment to our hub on hydrogen fuel technology and I must say that I agree with part of the comment that was made. However, whether we like it or not, transportation will always remain a central part of our existence and the need to transport food from one place...
