Why Diesel Car creates lot of noise and a Petrol doesn't?
How loud a vehicle runs is based on how loud the explosion is that takes place inside the cylinders. A diesel engine packs in more gas inside the cylinder than other quieter cars. This means that the explosion is bigger because the fuel to air ratio is larger than other vehicles. Hope that makes sense.
