I love the old fashion look of witches and black cats. These images come from vintage designs that date back to the early 1900's. The witches mostly have smiles on their faces to make you think they are friendly before they cast a spell on you. The jacks o' lanterns have the eerie and creepy grins that make you aware that there is trouble ahead. You better beware for it is the witching hour of Halloween.
Then not all witches are evil. There are good witches and misunderstood witches. One of the image designs shows a witch giving children a ride on her broom. She has to be a good witch! Or is she pretending to be a good witch? Perhaps she plans on feeding these children in her cookie and candy house to fatten them up. Like in the story of Hansel and Gretel, the wicked who wanted to eat the children.
