This is the kind of evil I can get behind. When a company single handedly employs what would amount to a mid size city, in this economy I say hip hip hooray. Very good nicomp, I too saw this as a tongue in cheek complaint.

@Tom Whitworth , drbj , greatAmerican : This article is in response to an email circulated by MoveOn.org that characterizes Exxon Mobil as evil. I have tongue planted firmly in cheek.

Evil is in the eyes of the beholder! The evil Exxon keeps a lot of cars running and polluting our air, shame, if it was not for the evil of cars we could all be on horseback.

      Yippee, giddy up!!

If we want to expose evil in our country, we need to start with the biggest employer, Government!

nicomp - are you certain Exxon Mobile is really evil? As in vile and pernicious. As you report, it provides jobs for nearly 103,000 employees, and in 08 donated $225+ million to charity.

Or maybe I'm just taking you too seriously and missing your point. Elucidate.
