No matter what your current business is, with a little creativity you can double your income in no time and even earn six or seven figures if you know how to market and make use of the internet. The sky is the limit. Ever since 1989 when the great President Ronald Reagan gave peace to Eastern Germany after they had been enslaved by communism for thirty years by tearing down the Berlin Wall, we have been living in the Information age. Prior to that time, it was considered to be the industrial age for over 100 years. These are great times as far as it is quite easy for the average person to sell his information. Some entrepreneurs have managed to make millions simply from selling information online.


Information Marketing

Information Marketing is one of the simplest ways to turn your existing business, or any business you plan to develop into a very powerful six figure, or even seven figure income. Information Marketing can be in the form of producing seminars, home study courses, selling e-books, digital PDF and audio files, or a combination of all.

Information marketing is guided and fueled by the ever- increasing pressure on people and their shortage of time. Businesspeople and consumers need information provided to them in a simple and convenient way. Methods and strategies that may have been taught to them ten years ago now need to be done for them. The information industry encompasses products such as traditional books, audio programs, videos, or DVDs that you could buy in a store, from catalog, or online; magazines, newsletters, e-books, membership websites, teleseminars and webinars. Many information business are run by a single person, or a small group of people with zero to a few employees, most working only part-time hours, and many netting seven-figures.

When creating an information product, it is best to spend a lot of time studying the market, examining the problems its members face, and designing or offering a solution to a problem.

It is generally believed that all doctors are rich and life is therefore easy. After eleven years of schooling and a mountain of debt, many doctors have very little as far as time for lifestyle goes, at least for many years of practice. They work long hours, take on tremendous responsibility and are gouged by every sales shark in town when it comes to making investments. While business men learn what to do with their money and have their money working for them, doctors only learn how to work and therefore end up like any employee; working for their money and spending what they earn. They trade precious time for a nice income, and often learn of this trap only after being in private practice for a few years. They discover that they do not have the time to do the things they really want to do, and the can not afford to take more than one week off at a time. Truly successful business owners work less as their business grows, and profit more.

In the 1960s a physician became sick and tired of working for his money. His name was Laurel, and what he decided to do was create a home study course that he geared toward women who wished to become medical assistants. He manged to have his course accredited and he sold binders with all the necessary information for young women to become medical assistants at approximately $400. In the 1960-1980s ads in numerous magazines could be seen advertising the Laurel school of Medical Assistants. These were the days before internet, and Mr. Laurel discovered how to take basic knowledge that he had from years of repetition in his office, and sell it to women across the country. Now he was making money without doing anything on a steady basis when new generations of girls were deciding on what to do with their lives, or when women were deciding to go back to the work force. All he had to do was keep the ads going and have the medical assistants he had on staff take responsibility for mailing out the supplies to new students of the home study course. This was the way of marketing information up until the advent of the internet.

Before venturing into the Information Marketing arena, it is wise to remember that the key to success is identifying a hungry market.

You must find a market of individuals who are frustrated or need help. Some popular ideas are to make DVDs, literature, or ebooks on a profession that you know a lot about. For example, if you just got your Real Estate license you could put together a nice package that helps others pass their exams.





Launching Info Business

The three day event is a way to make a lot of sales at one time. They are also beneficial at helping you decide if your product is really in demand or not. While giving your seminar, your product will be at the back of the room ready for the purchase. This makes these events immediate, and can often result in tremendous sales because during breaks people can view the product and are often driven to purchase.

A coaching event or course is another way of providing information and making a killing. Just do a search on what ever your product or information is and get an idea what is out there. I guarantee you that every profession will have its info marketing masters.
