Kerala Public Service Commission
The Kerala Public Service Commission is a body created by constitutions of India. It operates as an employment provider for people residing in kerala. The commission advices the government on all matters relating to civil services. KPSC publish notifications inviting applications for selection to various posts as per the requisitions of the appointing authorities and conduct written tests, practical tests, interviews,etc.. The head office of the KPSC is situated at a place 'Pattom' in Kerala states capital Thiruvananthapuram.
KPSC is one of the exam conductor having lakhs of candidates or participants. It is a trend for Kerala people for learning and writing exams conducted by KPSC. Lots of people working hard for getting PSC examinations. The exam conducted in an OMR (Optical Mark Recognition) valuation style in objective questions format. Candidates have to bubble the circles that represents the correct answer. Each questions have 4 options. There will be 100 questions. Time for this examination is 75 minutes.

One time registration
KPSC introduced a new feature in there website in 2012. Now those who are regularly applying for the examinations can do a one time registration with KPSC. This feature simplifies the application process. Those who registered by uploading their Photo and signature, need not to upload the same for every examinations.

After the application procedure, the applicant will get a 'Barcode'. That bar code have to be used by the applicant, when the department publishes the online hall tickets of examinations. The hall ticket can be downloaded from the site and can use by the applicant for writing examinations.
After the objective type examination, the valuation will made in an OMR valuation style as mentioned earlier and KPSC publishes the ranked lists of candidates, who pursue high marks in the valuation. The candidate who listed in the ranked lists should attend interviews, and after the successful completion of interview, the candidate will be appointed for the job he applied according to the rules and regulations.
