Know Your Product For The Biggest Paychecks

Updated on August 1, 2009

Welcome to my on going series Making Cash in Your Spare Time... if you want to read the first part Turning Spare Time In To Huge Profits For Dummies, go ahead I have made sure to interlink all the hubs so that you can find them easy...

So you want to make big money online... Google adsense is one way... but if you are like me and struggle to write... you need a product to sell.. and if you dont know your product you are not going to make many sales...

You Have To Stay On Top

When I was in the car business... the guys that stayed on top and made the most money... Knew their product BUT they also knew their competor's product just as well...

For example...

Did you know that Mercedes Benz was designed so you couldnt break inot it if you locked the keys in the car... well if you take a plastic  strp (like the ones used to bundle newspapers) you can get into any mercedes without leaving a mark anywhere on the car...

I learned that by asking alot of questions about mercedes benz cars, from a mechanic that use to work at the dealership...

That GMC trucks have 83 more bolts then a chevy pickup in 1980's....

Stupid dumb facts am sure you are saying to your self.... well I guy buying a $75,000 car wants to know the stuff inside of it is safe.... well "break into a used Mercedes with a piece of plastic... and that same guy starts to see why your car is better....

Tell a guy that is shopping for a new truck for a work vehicle that is looking at your GMC that it has 83 more bolts then a chevy... he starts to see why you want an extra 500 bucks for a work truck...

Now both of those stories are true... I sold both vehicles.... to be honest I dont think I would have sold either one if I didnt know my product...

in the car business I was always studing or reading if I wasnt with a customer... Information is key in selling.... thats why am taking a different approach then the google adsense theme that you see so much... yes I will use google adsense but not as my only source of income...

Where to start.....

The first thing I need to do with an "online product" like mine is understand the interface of the website... you maybe asking how...

Well thats simple... am going to open an account and start using the product... I am going to buy and sell stocks, see if the help file tells me anything... another words I am going to get in there and get my hands dirty... I am going to see what makes this thing tick... by doing this I am going to find good points about it....

And am going to find bad points about it... but in the end I am going to know what am selling... which will make the next part much easier when I start selling my new product...

in the next issue we are going to talk about how we will learn our new product read it here first... Trading Stocks Harder Then I Thought
