There Are Just 2 StepsTo Raising Your Page Rank

There was a marketing scam many years ago, that was touted as follows: Never get another speeding ticket! Never get a DUI! Never get caught stealing! Just send $9.00 to the following address. Then in a envelope the customer would receive an note reading..."Obey The Law"! That is the kind of disappointment I felt reading Mark Knowles Hub, "How I Got My Hub to Google's front Page", where he explained, how do you do a search engine optimization? Write a good webpage! Mark Knowles explains in great detail how much text, pictures and You Tube clips you need to have a "good webpage." The search engine, whether it is Bing or Google or another, determines which webpage is closest and best to the related search. The great news is any hub you have can be over hauled or tweaked to meet this criteria! Having plenty of text and pictures and video clips, as well as, links to other related hubs increases your click thru rates! This not only makes you more money, but is a major consideration in page rank!

The second thing that will raise your webpage rank is joining Social Net Working Sites. Think about it, if you have two webpages that are both pretty much the same, only one belongs to 3 social networking sites, that is the one you choose because you get triple the exposer with every click of the mouse! Some of these sites are Digg, Reddit ,Stumble upon and many others. The more sites you post your webpages to, the stronger your page rank will be!

Beginner's luck

My very first hub" Let A Cat Adopt You" landed on the Google first page 1-1,660,000 and that was before I joined any Social Networking sites. I thought at the time, "this internet thing is a piece of cake!" After that however, getting page rank just wasn't happening! I was the internet's version of the 90 lb.weakling, that is until I signed up for Reddit and then Digg! I got a tremendous amount of traffic from Reddit for about 2 weeks after I posted my webpages (hubs) there! The web traffic from Digg wasn't nearly as impressive, but then a curious thing started happening! One by one my webpages started hitting the top rank Google page and then started moving up the page! Of top ten searches on Bing the over whelming number are listed through Digg!

Why I'm Big On Digg

Joining and posting your webpages (hubs) on social networking sites raises your page rank by creating back links to your site, but in the case of Bing, Digg actually delivers your webpage to the search engine! A perfect example is "3 good reasons to fire your lawn care service" 1-3,600,000 as of today on Bing, no where to be found on Google! It was submitted by Digg! As I do Bing searches of my hubs on Bing I find the the vast majority are ranked on the first page for one reason and one reason only, it is because it was submitted through Digg! So forget all that smack you've heard about Reddit is better Blah Blah Blah! When Reddit or any other Social Net working site starts actually delivering my hubs to a first page search engine, they'll have my full undivided attention, but until then I continue to be big on Digg!

Why I Wrote This Hub

To tell the truth I am an internet illiterate! I have trouble with the most basic of tasks. What I am demonstrating in this hub is that virtually anyone with a little hard work, can write a decent hub and get a good search rank on a search engine! While I can't guarantee you a listing in the top 10 of a search engine I can assure you that your rank will improve as well as your hub scores. More important you will make more money! So read Mark Knowle's hub, sign up for Social networking sites ( Digg is a good start ) and when your rank goes through the roof, don't forget ( as the Bp Exec put it) the little people! I'd love to hear your success stories!
