   What is the best way to get a job at the beach?
   
   I want to live and work at the beach (any beach). I was thinking of jobs at an inlet (i.e. fishing boats, parasailing instructor, etc.); however, jobs like this seem scarce. Does anyone have experience working one of these jobs or have tips on getting one? Please include any salary information if you know.

   Hi Seth,
   
   I live in northern Brazil and here there are people who teach kite surfing. Depending on where you would teach, you would need qualifications. Here the rules are more relaxed. Lifeguard, bartending at a beach bar, surf instructor, tour guide, etc. There is also someone in Rio who started selling vegetarian burgers on the beach. Now he has a chain of veggie restaurants.
   Rent out sun beds, surfboards, or metal detectors.
   Sell cold bottles of water, ice cream, fresh fruit.
   Busk or build sand castles with a well placed sand bucket for contributions.

   Honestly- If I was you and wanted to work at the beach- I would Be a Bartender. There are several bars directly on the beach- where you can work and make decent money doing such. Beach = fun bar gig= good money.. You cant go wrong...

      I figured as much, but I'd prefer to do something beach related and outdoors. Please let me know if you have tips on actually getting one of these gigs.
