some people are burned out and stressed out from working but they don't want to change employment as they're paid handsomely. i understand as most of them are supporting their families or are paying for debts or are sustaining a lifestyle. but if you have the choice, would you hold on to it? or look for an average paying job but which you enjoy so much?
I looked for a lucrative (to my standards )job that is not stressful and was lucky enough to find it. There is no particular reason why decently paid jobs should be dangerously or abusively stressful.
Although this might sound a bit odd, I think it depends on the type of stress. I actually enjoy a "bit " of pressure, I like the adrenalin. So, I guess, a well paid job with some pressure but where I can easily manage the stress. I have had jobs that were just too stressful and then every area of your life is negatively affected, which can never be good.
