Is there anyone who is hiring these days? If so what kind of job is it you are being hired to do?
Looking to figure out who is hiring what type of people and where they are being hired. I'm in the workforce business and it seems bleak and getting bleaker but I think I'm just too close to a lot of people out of work. There must be some good stories out there. Anybody?
Most of the opportunities I hear about are related to sales -- insurance, food services, etc. A friend was just hired as an IT recruiter. You probably know about training programs available that the Federal government will underwrite. Nurses are always in demand as well as some teaching specialties such as Special Education.
