my work hours were just reduced from 40 to 25 per week. Do I qualify for partial unemployment?
If you were hired for full time work, then most likely you will be able to file a claim for unemployment and receive partial benefits. Laws vary from state to state, so I would only suggest that you file a claim. If you fall under the guidelines you will receive benefits. If not, you will be notified as to why you are being denied.
Keep in mind that if you were offered any kind of work other than your normal job and you refused it, you will probably not be eligible.
