employee resigns , but 12month continues to harrass, slander x-boss getting her fired what can I do?

This employee continued to spread rumors, lies, and calling the boss over 24 months with restricted numbers, keeps saying lies such asEmbezzlement, saying i am gay, having other employees say I slept with them, calling me bipolar, crazy, unprofessional, but using others to get the bad word out. Very hard to prove. But everyone knows the underlying person, but affraid to say anything due to what will happen to them.

I do not know what your religious beliefs are but listening to false accusations without reacting is the best policy.  A lot of times, I believe these negative energy outbursts come from our past Karma or wrong doings.  Reacting and counterplanning is unnecessary waste of energy.  Nature is the best healer.
If you know of anyone who does Reiki ask them to give you reiki with the healing symbol on your back and in your office.

I have said my affirmations, I have released her, wished her well. I do not even work at the same place, she caused enough trouble to get my boss tired of the calls and complaints, all he told me was all complaints were  unfounded, but he was tired and just thought it better I leave, so I did, and the woman continues to call me, say horrible lies and has prevented me in the small town we live in to get a job. I continuely live in fear for my son and myself what she might do next. I am affraid of my professional licenses as well. I was told by many to get a order of protection, but what would I say to the judge?
