Amazon affiliate for non-US residents

Anybody here who does not live in the US but who has received anything from Amazon? I was once in Mechanical Turk but I stopped because they were not sending payments to non-US residents (either you convert it to a gift certificate or you have it deposited in a US bank). I'm wondering if it's the same for Amazon affiliate.

How did you like mechanical turk?  I looked at their site and the payouts looked ridiculously low.

It was okay for some time I guess (got $7 for all my work). Easy also to look for quick jobs there. But you're right, the payouts are really low. Guess that's why I stopped doing it and just claimed my credit.

I also can't receive payments from Amazon, but there is a possibility of getting a gift card, which works ok for me.

Well, I'm in Canada and as far as I know I can take the money or a credit. Of course, I'm nowhere near payout.
