Is it illegal to refuse to provide the copy of my employment application and all notes associated?
Requested notes and the copy and was told this is proprietary information, and is the property of the employer. Was interviewed and strongly believe they hired a much lesser qualified individual and or former employer did not provide the excellent references promised. Thus considering all this happened in MA, do I have a case? Can the company I interviewed at refuse to provide me such records?
