Would you work a job for mininum wage as a 2nd part time job and you only get 8 hours a week? Is...
it really beneficial?
Whatever provides for you and your family's essential temporal welfare is what you must do. To not provide to the maximum physical ability you've been given is to be prideful and would be happy receiving welfare that the rest of us pay for.
Of course, this is only if the work adds to your overall asset. If the job is actually costing you more than is coming in then you may want to rethink the situation. For instance travel expense, paying for food on break and benefits.
I agree with goldenpath, you have to weigh the pros against the cons. A job that is more trouble than it's worth is a waste of time, but if you come out positive (making money) I would keep the job.
Tried that for some extra money to pay off student loans with a full time day job with no way to get overtime etc I thought it would help pay off student loans faster. Problem being apparently Im overqualified to work nights although Id be far more dependable then many other workers as I have a a long road ahead and avaliabilty over weekends.

With the continual outsourcing of jobs to other countries, the struggling national economy, and the unrealistic ability for everyone to earn a college degree, should minimum wage be eliminated?Just something that I have been thinking about and I would love to get your opinions on.
