economy, I had to let my one employee go, move my business to home, and struggle to find new work. So far, no luck. Just waiting for clients who are bidding projects to land one and send work my way. All my resources are up.
So in essence, I am employed but can not receive a paycheck because there are no funds. Do I have to close my business to declare unemployment? Even if I land a contract, I will work with out pay until the client pays 30 days after I complete work.

I own a C corporation and paid myself a salary. Am I supposed to issue myself a W2? I did not for 2009 and was wondering how I report the income on my 1040. I am using TaxAct and they have business income from sole proprietorship, partnership and S corp, but I don't see C Corp.

if we invest 25,000 of our own personal money into a regular corp or an llc (that we exclusive...own) can we deduct the investment expensive. We're not buying anything we are essentially just transfering the $ from one entity to another.
