how do you get reliable recommendations on best services like dentist, mechanic, lawyer ect.?
Do you ask your friends? or you just google it? have a reliable forum? or just go and try out all in a row?
You can try Angie's List, though there is a membership cost for that each month. Yelp is free website with user submitted reviews that is pretty good. Yahoo and Google reviews are also useful (at least at times).
I'd say asking your friends can't hurt either, as well as your family. Really the best thing to do is get as much feedback as possible, and not rely too much on any one answer. Hope that helps.
