"top ten banks" is too vague....tops in assets...in customer service? in credit worthiness? if you go to FT.com and start searching their free areas for their annual bank rankings i think you will find several top bank lists...I believe a year ago they ranked top ten "safest banks" and believe that two or three Canadian banks which never got involved in the TARP or subprime scandals including...Royal Bank of Canada and I am pretty sure ScotiaBank made the list...hope this helps.

The new "rules" and Google issues raise a question. If I want to review a Top 10 or similar list of records, movies or essential kitchen items, when does it become overly promotional? I would have a paragraph about each item with overall intro and closing paragraphs. It would be logical...
