How can I attract early stage funding for new business start-ups
I run an Incubation centre in Limerick. Our biggest headache is finding early stage funding
Do you run / operate the incubator yourself renting out to startups, or are you a startup yourself? Most incubators that I've worked with have a little of their own capital to invest in the businesses - thus the benefit of having an incubator, you get in on the ground floor. But if you're looking for that next level of capital, what I might suggest is putting together a small presentation about your incubator, the type of businesses you are looking to attract... how you are helping them to develop, etc, etc... and then do a bunch of cold calls to angel investment firms and small VC firms - simply introducing yourself and asking if they would like to be kept in the loop for information on the companies that work with / under / for you.
