Does perception value have any effect with how docs look?

I'm not sure if I understand your question. But from what I understand, doctors wear scrubs for sanitary reasons such as during surgery and whatnot. After all, with all the blood borne diseases nowadays, it'd be so easy to accidentally get infected by a sick patient.

@ marketingskeptic - The question has something to do with perception value. If docs simply wear scrubs, does their look send negative impression to patients? If yes, should they go for more corporate-looking attires?
