Do you have personal items on you work desk?
Are you allowed to have pictures of your family, a plant or any other little knickknacks on your work desk.
Within reason, personal items were allowed. Nonetheless, work was work, and home was home. In 32 years I never took a single personal picture, diploma or otherwise to work and never brought any stuff from work home.
What other people did was their business.
No, I am only there two days a week and so I leave all personal stuff at home. i could have knick-knacks or plants but all total it is 10 hours a week so I don't do it.
When I worked in a JOB. I always had personal items surrounding me. You only work as good as you feel and having my own personal items around me made me feel good.
