Why do so many people who consider they have no talent for writing create their own CVs/resumes?
It costs around £60 an hour for a professional to do it for you. If you do not have a job you need the money for other things. If you get a job with a CV you wrote you do not need a professional.
This is true and is fine if you secure a job quickly. However, we see a lot of people who have lost a lot of opportunities because of their CV and, sometimes, recruiters have refused to take them on unless they improve their CV.
Good point Richmond Solutions. I revise mv CV regularly during and between contracts and sometimes ask recruiters for feedback . CVs are normally scanned electronically for keywords so getting the keywords in takes priority over easy reading: just.
