Finding at job as a teenager difficult?
I'm 17, and finding a job is extremely difficult. Not to mention I need a work permit.
Does job hunting get easier after 18? (only 2 more months) due to more work environments (warehouses, etc), more availability, etc?
My brother found a job as a 17 year old last year at a Christian store. He did not need a work permit, is homeschooled, and has his Boy Scout Eagle. Plus it doesn't hurt that he plans to go to Texas A&M, where his boss went. My youngest sister is 14 and she has, in writing, a promised job for when she is 16 at an overnight pet place. She intends to own one someday and has a passion for animals. When I was 16, I got a summer swim instructor job at the YMCA. At 17, I got a job at Chick-Fil-A. Use your goals to your advantage and your relationships with the people you know.
