If all employment #s today, same as 1994, why is there a perceived job problem?

All of the measures of employment, whether compared to Labor Force or Civilian non-Institutional Population (the total some people want to use) are almost identical between June 2014 and 1994 average figures when unemployment was last at 6.1% exactly.

I don't recall the huge uproar over lack of job availability then as I hear today from the propaganda machines.  1994 was the beginning of the longest period of economic growth in American history.

Good point! Maybe they are trying to create a panic so the leaders can be looked at as some type of savior when they solve all the world problems. LOL. I'm a Canadian and apparently same thing is here about employment.
