Is work a necessary evil to be avoided? Birds, Animals, Fishes don't go to office, why Humans?
That's a very hilarious question so I would also answer it in the same tone. How can you say that animals, fishes and birds don't go to office? Like we human beings, we can say it aloud that we have a hectic work schedule but these poor creatures can't say like that. May be they have some other vital work which may be as hectic as our work schedule.
Thanks dhimanreena. ...and on a serious note what would your answer be.
Remember....ajgar kare na chakri, panchi kare ne kaam.......( pythons are not employed , birds don't go to work)
Sundeep.....Well, aren't you the stand-up comedian today!......Unless we're born into extreme wealth and have the privilege of living a soft, cushy life, work is a necessary drudgery.
As far as we know at this time.....birds need not pay taxes on their nests nor pay for air space. Fish never get a water bill,
I suppose in a way, animals/wild life do have some work to do now and then in order to survive, but they don't have to show up at the office!! LOL
Very funny, Sundeep. Thank you for the laugh.
Thanks fpherj48 for finding my question funny...at least I could bring a smile on your face and may be other readers too. But on a serious note, is it possible that we dont' have to work to PAY BILLS.
SERIOUSLY, Sundeep. I can't imagine how this would be possible. It's a bit late for us to try to re-invent the entire system! But if you think of something....I ALL FOR IT!!
Humans are complex organisms - thus, we need complex activities too. Work not only pays the bills, it keeps us occupied and challenged. If we avoid work (no matter how simple or tough it may be), we are just destroying ourselves. What do we do with all that time? For even in our leisure, we find work.
Thanks Crisantonio for a practical apporach. But imagine human lives a few thousand years when individual skills were used to serve and help each other! Everything is possible! Just Think.

Are Some Monopolies a Necessary Evil?I remember when there was only one giant telephone service with many arms throughout the country: the Bell Company and the original American Telephone and Telegraph Company. In 1982 the anti-trust laws split the monopoly and as they say “the rest is...

I am all for World peace and everyone living harmoniously with the World around us. However, since the beginning of history there has always been conflict in one way or another which makes me feel that disharmony is a necessary evil. Is this the case or is conflict caused by humans?

If you’re familiar with the term, you might be one of us. Does the world need “evil” as much as it requires good? Playing politics takes all kinds. The motivations of the rich are parallel the desires of the poor. Life is less valuable, if there is no death. What do national governments know that...

No one really wants to think about what should happen to them if they get ill or have an accident. Many people don’t even have a will in the event of their death, yet alone think about their wishes should their lives turn and they are unable to mentally/physically function. As you...
