If you’re familiar with the term, you might be one of us. Does the world need “evil” as much as it requires good? Playing politics takes all kinds. The motivations of the rich are parallel the desires of the poor. Life is less valuable, if there is no death. What do national governments know that the common public is unaware of? Arms dealers sell to militant groups and the good ones get away with it, so that there can be war...Black market earnings are factored into the GPI. The fear of over population is weighted against these factors and leveled out by the constant mechanisms designed to control society. Simple. Can we actually get ahead without cutting the threads that hold us together? We could if no one country wanted to rule the world, their way, only for their benefits. It appears some evil is necessary.
But in every religious scripture from the bible to the quran it asks human beings to push evil away and do good deeds if we are to inherit the Kingdom of Heaven. We can not inherit Eternal life if we participate or do evil. It is good that makes life worth living and evil that creates destruction and devalues life.
I mean evil in the sense that some things that people say are evil, are not, like the Drug Trade. Likewise, some things that people say are good are not...

I am all for World peace and everyone living harmoniously with the World around us. However, since the beginning of history there has always been conflict in one way or another which makes me feel that disharmony is a necessary evil. Is this the case or is conflict caused by humans?
