A resume is a selling point. Share experiences in the resume that give you a possible chance for success. Don't over play your talents. You may be a great cook but it won't win any prizes if you are applying for a job as a carpenter. If you worked in a restaurant and never missed a days work that would be something to add to your resume. If you helped remodel that restaurant be sure to add that to your resume and list your employer because the reference could be the extra information needed to get the job.
The best resumes today illustrate one's (accomplishments) in previous jobs they held. "Increased revenues by 20%", "Reduced expenses and overhead by 10%", "Headed up team that ...etc" "Made President's Circle four straight years..."
Employers want to see that hiring (you) will make an impact.

If you were a recruiter for new hires, would you prefer video resumes over printed ones?Let's say you are in Human Resources and you need to find a Controller for your company. Would you be more apt to view video resumes in your search, or would you prefer reading over printed resumes instead?
