A Day at the Spa

Th HubNugget Crew was excitedly entering the All About You Spa. Jason Menayan had decided that they needed a restful, relaxing day after all of the adventures they had had lately. He couldn't have picked a better surprise. The best part was they were to pick out any of the offerings without looking a the price. The sky was the limit.

The crew knew from the moment they stepped in the door that this was going to be a very special day. The room they walked into was absolutely gorgeous. It was elegant and understated. They all suspected it would be a day they would never forget. A day of pampering and relaxation. They were greeted by a gorgeous woman who offered to take them on a personal tour. Each were handed a brochure with all of the spa treatments and nowhere on that list was even a hint of the cost. Yes, this was going to be a great day, expensive too, at least for Jason.

We all agreed to split up into three groups. Some of us were going to begin with massages, others with body wraps, and the last group would begin with facials. Patty Inglish, Enelle Lamb, and Ripplemaker happily left to select and enjoy their massages. After happily looking over the different selections offered they finally decided to ask their hostess what she would recommend.

She told them that the favorite massage was the hot stone massage and went on to patiently describe what it was. The hot stone massge uses smooth, heated stones. The therapist places them on the body on parts of the body while they massage other body parts. The heat from the stones help warm up tight muscles and provide deep relaxation of the muscles. The massage is the icing on the cake, it really gets deep into the muscles and help the muscles really relax. The girls all agreed that this was the massage for them.

They all felt so good they decided to present the HubNugget Nominees for the Games, Toys, and Hobbies category.

Maddie Rudd, Fawntia Fowler, and ladyjane1 wandered off with their hostess to begin to prepare for their body wrap. While they were having dead skin brushed off the girls learned that they were going to have their legs, arms, torso, and neck slathered with an herbal mix and then wrapped with a plastic wrap.

They were thrilled to also learn that this would moisturize their skin, boost their lymphatic system and metabolism, detoxify, tighten their skin, and they would also lose a few inches off of their total body measurements. Some people temporarily lose a whole size. After learning this they all relaxed and chit chatted for the 1/2 hour they were sitting there all wrapped up.

The time seemed to speed by. After they were unwrapped and showered off the goo, they were thrilled to find that each one of them lose a few inches. Of course, they knew it was only temporarily gone but still, it was great. And their skin, it was so oft and smooth. All in all, it was a great experience.

When they were finished with their body raps they were so impressed they went ahead and presented the Entertainment and Media categories

Simone Smith, RedElf, and KoffeeKlatch Gals eagerly walked towards the area that boasted that they had the best facials in town. After much deliberation they decided to go with the special spa facial. The brochure said that it used warm towels, facial massage, essential oils and special clay masks. It would leave the skin of their faces relaxed, glowing and fully hydrated. It sounded like it was just what they were looking for.

They laid back, relaxed and let their hostesses work on their faces. It was so relaxing they almost fell asleep. They were feeling so pampered. To them this was the height of luxury. They couldn't wait to see the results. Their faces would be so smooth and glowing they just knew they would be beautiful.

Their facial made them feel so beautiful that they decided to present the Food and Cooking categories.

At the end of the day, or what they though was the end, the crew all gathered in a sitting room to enjoy a cup of delicious herbal tea. Thinking this was it, they were discussing where to meet for dinner. In came another gorgeous woman (It looked like they only hired beauty queens here) and informed the group that they had one more stop. They couldn't believe there was anything left to do.

They all got up and followed their hostess into a large room set up for - oh yes, mani's and pedi's. They couldn't believe the selection of colors and decals, it would take them forever. Of course everyone had their own favorites and eventually they all settled on a color an a few little decals.

When they all met in the lobby at the end of the day they oohed and ahhed at the results. They were feeling so beautiful and relaxed they decided to go buy an outfit that would show off their bodies. Jason, look for the bill in the mail.
